California death horde GRAVEHILL and Dark Descent Records have announced April 1 as the release date for the band's highly-anticipated third full-length, Death Curse, on CD and digital formats with vinyl treatment coming soon.

Death Curse features over 35 minutes of powerful death metal in the old-school vein and includes guest appearances from some of the biggest legends of death metal. Chris Reifert and Eric Cutler of Autopsy and Kam Lee (Massacre, Death and Bone Gnawer) all made contributions to what threatens to be one of 2014's most skin-grating albums. Death Curse features artwork by Christopher Moyen (Incantation, Blasphemy and more).

Vocalist Mike Abominator had this to say about Death Curse, "We have some filthy fucking death metal terror here with "Death Curse".These are the things of nightmares, the stench that makes you puke. This is what this album will make you do when you hear it. We are going with the raw, putrid and dismal live sound this time, to try and capture the feel of one of our live show performances, of which we feel hasn't been represented  with our releases so far. Expect the same rotten and old school death metal from us. Fuck triggers! Fuck trends! Fuck technical bullshit! Fuck progress! AND FUCK YOU!"

Greek death dealers MASS INFECTION prepares to dominate the death metal scene in 2014 with their new, highly-anticipated full-length album, For I Am Genocide. This is the follow up to their 2009 release The Age of Recreation.

MASS INFECTION has crushed skulls with their precision brutality since 2003. They have certainly proven to be a supreme force with their skillful and technical style of catchy death metal. Mass Infection is strongly influenced by bands like Deeds of Flesh, Hate Eternal and Severe Torture... so you can expect a blistering assault of barbaric insanity!

French metal juggernaut Kaotoxin Records have announced the March 11 release of Enlightening the Unknown from the recently disbanded INSAIN.

The premiere of the EP's video trailer can be seen at this location

The more massive and heavy a star, the faster its death, the darker its ending. No rest for the dead: INSAIN are no more, but their legacy will live forever with this new and last release, which also marked a step forward for a band that was already head and shoulders above the pack with only a debut full-length, Spiritual Rebirth, under its belt.

Subsequent to finishing the debut, drummer Jonathan "Sangli" Juré fought for more than a year in the hospital to recover from a violent car crash that cost him his life and the recruiting of new bassist Benoit "Bono" Jean (SentencE), Kaotoxin  Records would like to thank David Schonbackler, Nicolas Becuwe, Louis Lafitte, Jonathan "Sangli" Juré and Benoit "Bono" Jean for believing in the label since the very start (INSAIN was second band signed to the label) and still being great individuals and friends, as well as gifted musicians. We wish them all the best for their future projects.

Spiritual Rebirth, was such an over-the-top release in all aspects - production, artwork, brutality, catchiness, musicianship - and should have been a sign that such intensity couldn't last for long before turning into its counterpart from the dark side: the supermassive black hole that is Enlightening the Unknown. Produced at the 16th Cellar studio (HOUR OF PENANCE, FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE), the EP adds to the band's brutal basis a denser dose of black matter transforming the laws of gravity into a distorting mass of space and time; attracting everything around it and bringing all that is darkness to a stellar chaos with the addition of fascinating new solos and captivating dark melodies, and a new bass player, Bono. The EP brings the lower end of the sound spectrum to a whole new level of brutality and musicianship. It even features an intro and special guest vocals by none other than Daniel Neagoe of EYE OF SOLITUTDE and UNFATHOMABLE RUINATION.

Artwork comes courtesy of Headsplit Design (ARCH ENEMY, SIX FEET UNDER, MUMAKIL). Available as a limited edition (1,000 copies only, no repress) deluxe DigiSleeve CD. Beware Brutal Death Metal fans: your universe contains a new deadly spot on the map, way beyond the stellar remnants.

GOLEM. This legendary and absolutely underrated band started back in 1989. In the 1990s they have released two of the best Death Metal albums ever, which have never been released on vinyl. Until now!

FDA Rekotz is re-releasing both "Eternity - The Weeping Horizons" (1996) and "The 2nd Moon" (1998).

Both albums were remastered by Andreas Hilbert (head of the band) and to top it of Mark Cooper has created new killer artwork. GOLEM are influenced by bands like CARCASS, DEATH or MORBID ANGEL and are surely on the same musical level. They never got the luck to be pushed by one of the big record labels at the time (early/mid 90s). They are still more or less active and the time has come to rise above and beyond, to show their great compositions to a wider audience.

Now it's time to re-release both hard to find albums for the first time ever on vinyl (2LP), as well as Double CD and for Download!

The vinyl will be limited to 100 transparent green and 400 rotten black copies, printed lyrics, old pictures and more than 80 minutes pure fucking Death Metal at it's best.

Double-CD, Double-LP and Download will be unleashed from the grave on April 4th, 2014!

The pre-sale starts on February 5th at the FDA Rekotz online Deathstore:
